Sandy Stevenson is a dedicated mental health professional with over 17 years of experience working with individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. She is currently the Outpatient Program Director for Adolescents and Adults at Northpoint Nebraska, where she works closely with clients experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Sandy brings a strong clinical background as a former residential therapist specializing in co-occurring treatment for adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Her prior roles include serving as an Adult and Juvenile Treatment Probation Officer and Child Welfare Services Director, where she developed deep expertise in working with high-risk populations and managing critical community services.
As a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Sandy is passionate about supporting individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. She has extensive experience helping clients who have experienced abuse and neglect, particularly adolescents and adults affected by domestic violence and sexual abuse.
Sandy has provided a wide range of treatment services, including outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and residential care. With a specialized focus on co-occurring diagnoses, she remains committed to fostering healing, empowerment, and long-term resilience in the people she serves.
