Fee for Service: Acceptable forms of payment will be Debit or Credit cards for same day charges and payments. 

Current Insurance Accepted: BCBS, Medicaid-Total Care, Molina Medicaid, Midlands Choice, UHC/Optum, Probation Vouchers, Bright Health,  UMR and Aetna.

Crisis consultations

When life threatening situations or behavioral emergencies arise clients can be seen with 24 hours. Crisis consultations are single encounters with a therapist and are not designed to take the place of on-going therapy with a therapist, or serve as an adjunct to therapy. Please email for rates.

Stress Management Consultations

Sometimes life is stressful and at times you just need a listening nonjudgmental ear. Another professional individual that is non bias and is willing to hear what you have to say with compassion and empathy. This service is simply that, this not therapy but feedback is given when applicable.  Please email for rates.

Intake appointments

An intake appointment is a formal meeting you have with your therapist at Define U. It is during this meeting that information is gathered to help the therapist understand the issues that you are experiencing, and to begin setting goals and direction for your work. Please email for rates.

Individual and family therapy sessions

Define U therapy approach may use a time-limited therapy model. The number of sessions required for the therapy work that a particular client does is determined by the therapist and the client during their work together. Partner, spouses and family members who are not clients will be seen only as part of family therapy sessions. There is an option to pay for additional sessions beyond the maximum of 24 individual or family therapy sessions per year depending on your progression through the stages of change. NO SHOW POLICY

Define U appreciates your efforts to cancel your scheduled appointments at least 24 hours in advance.

When you call to cancel a scheduled appointment with at least 24 hour notice we have the opportunity to refill that appointment with another client in need.  Please help us meet another client’s need by calling in advance to cancel or reschedule your appointments.

There will be a $50.00 fee for No-Shows to any scheduled appointments.  You will be charged a no-show fee under the following circumstances:

1. You do not contact Define U and do not attend your scheduled appointment

2. You contact Define U to cancel your appointment after your scheduled appointment time
